Suggestion regarding plugin downloads

For less than daily users, it is not always top of mind where to go to get plugins. We all they are downloads, so why not have a link from the downloads page. It has Indigo but easily have another link go plugin downloads.

Re: Suggestion regarding plugin downloads

To add to my suggestion, I have spent the last half-hour looking for the Russound RNET plugin. I have found numerous articles internal and external to PA/Indigo, but none had a url to the download. Very frustrating to someone who does not use the site every day. Seems there should be a prominent link to Plugins from the homepage. I have seen many posts from others asking where to find a plugin.

Re: Suggestion regarding plugin downloads

We'll be working on a much better solution after we get Indigo 6 shipping.

For the moment, it's probably best to just link to the Plugins List wiki page - we try to keep that up to date.

Re: Suggestion regarding plugin downloads

didn't know about that one Jay - thanks.

Another small enhancement when you start revising the board here? Is there a setting to open parsed links in a new window? I never remember that in this forum links open in the same window, replacing the forum, and then I can't find the forum in my open tabs and windows!
