Display/change/popup control page by change of variable
I'm a bit in the dark here. I would assume that it is possible but I just can't find it to work. I would like to be able to popup a control page (on my iPad) when a trigger or variable changes. I want to use it to display a video stream when someone activates the front door doorbell switch. Is there a possibility within indigo 5 to switch control page when a variable is changed or a device is activated ? Regards Paul

No - Indigo Touch can't change the control page or popup windows without direct user interaction.

I also want to get Indigo to do this - for the exact same usage scenario as above (doorbell - show control page with image from IP cam over the door)...
Are there any plans to add this? Or is there a workaround that may work?
Thanks!

No workaround that I can think of. It's on the enhancement request list but not scheduled for a release.

Re: Display/change/popup control page by change of variable
Maybe not a workaround but I just use a full screen browser, Opera, and have Indigo send it the URL of the CP I want displayed. I have an always on wall mounted monitor, driven by an old laptop, that displays all kinds of info on various CP's based on triggers etc.
hint..hint...sure would be nice to be able to display video!
