Handling more than 8 irrigation valves

All,

I have a 9 valve rain bird irrigation system that I would like to add to my Indigo network. The EZFlora looks like an obvious choice but it only handles 8 valves. I haven't been able to find another similar product that handles more than 8. One obvious answer is to ignore one the valves in my current system (there is some overlap in the coverage of my system). I suppose I could buy two EXFlora units and somehow "split" the common wire between the two units (not sure if that will work).

Is anyone aware of other possible solutions?

Thx - Jeff

Re: Handling more than 8 irrigation valves

The simplest thing is to choose a zone you really don't need to water. For instance I have 20 zones. Several water ivy ground cover. That stuff does NOT need watering, believe me!! So those are not used, getting me to 16. I use two EZFloras and split the power, but am careful to make sure only one unit is on at any time.

So, easiest is to stick with 8 zones. But if you need to, get another EZFlora and split the power. Just be certain they don't come on simultaneously.
