Re-Sync of Devices using Python

Hello,

sometimes I need to re-sync some devices (edit device-->define and sync …-->sync). IO would like to have a script checking the status and if its like :
"Z-Wave Error device "Zwischenstecker Switch" should be re-synced using the "Define and Sync..." button in the device edit dialog (the internal device definition has been revised)"
it should do the re-sync. Has anybody an idea how to do it?

The sync process is not scriptable. It can be complex and sometimes can result in devices being added or removed from the database. Best if it is done manually by the user at this point.
