Having tried a number of robot vacs some years ago I’d heard things have really improved, especially with functioning on dark floors/carpets,
so I tried the Roomba S9+.
Not only was easy to link to the plugin, and fully functional with it, it performs beautifully on all my floors.
It’s mapping is much more detailed than before and allows naming of rooms and objects.
The Alexa integration is great as well…”Alexa, there’s a mess in the kitchen” actually sends the bot there to clean.

I have zero affiliation with iRobot…just wanted anyone like me who’s tried them and been disappointed to know there is one that
seems to really work. Time will tell.
