Nice! A far cry from my masterful display, though. Three lighted wreaths!

Well done.

Yes - start early.. I did a little last year but left it a bit late this year even though I started in early November!
Here are a few links to videos I've just taken.. Not the best of quality but you'll get the idea - xLights is very powerful :D

Nice.. I am gutted the icicles are sold out. Are the arches a single string of 50?
So the icicles came back in stock so I got some with the white holder to ensure they face forwards and give me an instant matrix for text too and they arrived on Friday.
Aaaaand.... my wife has said no on aesthetic grounds. [emoji853]

Hoping anyone with experience of xLights knows, how do I control dumb strings with xLights, as in what controllers do I use? I have nodemcu with WS8212 at the moment, but would like to add in my mains strings as well to increase the lights I can control.

Cheers
Simon

Yes, 1 X 50 but have to be joined with cables ties. Mine are temporarily joined in photo. I will put some stakes in the ground and tie wrap them in place then.

Haha. Shame. Would have liked to see that. Was thinking it couldn't be too near to any airports!!!
Exactly, although airports are quiet these days. [emoji2]

That awesome (especially the personalized message)! Are you doing more lights around the house? Definitely post the final results once you are done.

We have two tree trunks wrapped, lights around our door frame, and everything plugged into a single outdoor appliance module. Basically, the bare minimum we could get away with. 8) A cobbler's house has no lit shoes, or something?
Thanks Matt,
Yes the plan is for a few more additions and to add in the roof line to the controller. Was running a section off an esp chip but as I increased the number the WLED is limits come into play. Will post when I make progress. Delivery due Thursday..
