--------------------------------------------------------
The Indigo Touch iPhone (and iPod Touch) application will only work if you previously submitted your iPhone's UDID to PerceptiveAutomation.com. We have to build a special beta version of the application which is provisioned to run on individual devices. Unfortunately, we are limited in how many devices our beta is allowed to run on and we have already hit that limit and can no longer accept new beta participants. We'll be working diligently to get the beta finalized and available on the iTunes store so everyone can use it. Thanks for your patience.
If you previously submitted your UDID, then you can download the Indigo Touch application here:
Update: Download from the iTunes Store now.
Do not use: goprism.com/download/IndigoTouch.dmg
Indigo Touch requires the latest beta of the Indigo Server (4.0.0 beta 3 or higher) which an be downloaded here:
http://www.perceptiveautomation.com/ind ... nload.html
Follow the Installation Instructions.rtf included in the DMG for details on getting Indigo Touch installed onto your iPhone or iPod Touch. On first launch Indigo Touch's Settings list should automatically show your Bonjour accessible Indigo Server. If it isn't listed, then from the Mac Client choose the Indigo 4->Start Local Server menu item and make sure the Allow remote access and Enable iPhone, iPod Touch, and remote Web browser access checkboxes are enabled.
Setup Those Folders!
Indigo Touch makes extensive use of the new 4.0 folders feature. If you haven't already, be sure and organize your Devices, Action Groups, and Variables into folders. This will provide faster access and responsiveness when using Indigo Touch. By default folders are visible from Indigo Touch, but in the Mac Client you can right-click on the folder and choose Disable Remote Display to disable remote Indigo Touch access. You can also edit individual Device and Action Groups to access their Display in remote UI checkbox.
Bug Reporting
For the time being please report all bugs on this forum. We might reopen our bug database at some point, but for now we'll just keep track of bugs as they come up on the forum. Before reporting a bug please read the list of known issues below.
Known Issues and Likely Improvements
- You may be prompted for your username / password twice (once for LAN connection, and again for your reflector connection). After that Indigo Touch stores your username and password in the keychain.
- Landscape mode is not yet supported (still investigating what this might mean).
- Indigo Touch pre-caches all of the default Control Page images for improved performance. Future versions might also cache remote images across multiple runs as well.
