No, I hadn't seen that. The Apple Remote Control support is interesting. Looks like it is using this wrapper class to catch the remote events.

It looks like Shion uses the OS X HID driver to communicate with the PowerLinc. Indigo doesn't use HID anymore, which is why it installs the Indigo Overrides .kext driver (to prevent HID from taking over control of the PowerLinc). Point being, if you want to try Shion, you'll probably need to delete the Indigo Override driver file and reboot first.
