Enabling and Disabling Trigger and Time/Date Actions

Both Trigger and Time/Date Actions can be temporarily disabled to prevent triggering. You can manually disable Trigger and Time/Date actions in the main window, or you can define actions that automatically disable other actions.

For example, you could create 4 different Time/Date Actions for running your sprinkler system with different watering durations: one each for Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. You can then manually enable the correct Time/Date Action for the current season. Or, to be truly automated, you could create additional Time/Date Actions that automatically enable and disable your sprinkler actions based on the season starting dates.

Manually Enabling and Disabling Trigger and Time/Date Actions

  1. Select either Trigger Action List or Time/Date Action List from the View menu.
  2. Select the action in the main window list view that you want to enable or disable.
  3. To disable the action select the Upload or the Disabled menu in the popup control on the right of the action inspector view near the bottom of the main window.
  4. To enable the action select the Enable and Upload or the Enable menu in the popup control on the right of the action inspector view near the bottom of the main window.

Automatically Enabling and Disabling Trigger and Time/Date Actions

To enable or disable a Trigger or Time/Date Action as the result of another trigger, define an action with a Type of Enable Trigger Action, Disable Trigger Action, Enable Time/Date Action, or Disable Time/Date Action.
