Connecting the MR26 or W800RF32 Interface |
Indigo supports both the MR26a and W800RF32 receiver interfaces. The MR26a interfaces comes with several of the X10 branded kits, including the "Entertainment Anywhere" kit. The W800RF32 interface is available through MacHomeStore.com. Both interfaces directly receive RF signals from several X10 compatible remote controls and motion detectors. These signals are sent directly to Indigo, which can then trigger various actions.
- Choose Preferences... from the Indigo 4 menu, then make sure the Interface panel is selected.
- Select the Interface communication online checkbox and the Enable RF receiver interface checkbox.
- Choose your Interface type in the popup menu.
- Choose which serial port the RF interface is connected to in the Serial port popup menu. Note: if no names are listed in the serial port popup menu, then you probably do not have the proper driver installed for your USB to serial adapter. Download your adapter's driver from the driver manufacturer's website.
- Optionally select the Interface Options... button to define settings specific to the RF interfaces. From the RF Interfaces Options dialog you can define which house codes are actively received, how these house codes are mapped before Indigo triggers actions, and whether or not Indigo retransmits these commands to any connected X10 interfaces (PowerLinc, CM11, etc.).
