Home automation can be confusing, particularly when you're just starting out. It's often hard to make heads or tails of the terminology, much less how to implement the solutions that you need.

We understand. Remember, we were all there at one point or another. So, keeping that in mind, we've created a How-To Wiki for our products. In it, you'll find not only extremely helpful step-by-step tutorials for solving a wide variety of home automation tasks, but you'll also find a ton of good background information that's easily searched. And, because we allow our users to contribute, you don't have to wait for us to add content - it's a community effort! You can also get to the wiki by selecting How-To Wiki from the Help menu in Indigo. An added benefit of using that link is that if you have a device selected, it will take you to the how-to page for that device type.

If you don't find what you're looking for, then try searching our support forum. Again, because it's a community forum, you'll find lots of information that may answer your question. If you don't find the answer by searching, then post a question. The advantage to asking for help on the forums is that you'll not only get responses from Perceptive Automation staff, but also the thousands of Indigo users that use the forums. Many times you'll get an answer from another user who's had the same problem before we can answer. But we monitor those forums respond very quickly to questions that haven't been answered.
