The new INSTEON KeypadLinc Relay has arrived
It possesses the functionality of a INSTEON SwitchLinc Relay along with a capability to perform as a 6 Button KeypadLinc. And - it is X10 compatible also. It is definitely the ultimate wired-in remote control keypad. Don’t forget FAST. INSTEON devices are so much faster than X10 that a human usually cannot detect a delay. In most cases, it takes less than .05 of a second for a signal to get to its destination.
The INSTEON 6 Button KeypadLinc Relay with On/Off Switch allows you to now include fluorescent or non-dimmable lights, fans, and other appliances in your home INSTEON network. The KeypadLinc Relay functions only as an on/off switch for the local load you assign to it, but allows On/Off Bright/Dim control to linked INSTEON dimmers. If you need to control incandescent bulbs, low-voltage halogen (e.g. track), and other low-voltage lights with magnetic or dimmable electronic transformers, consider INSTEON KeypadLinc Dimmer.
Scene Lighting - Change the Lighting to Match Your Mood
Scenes allow you to control multiple lights, rooms or even the whole home with a single INSTEON command. All member lights will ramp to your independently desired levels at your chosen ramp rate(s). Because the KeypadLinc can be a member of over 400 scenes (i.e. "Movie Time," "Party," "Romance," etc.), you'll be able to launch various mood lighting scenarios with a single button press. These are elegant features usually found only in systems costing thousands of dollars and requiring extensive rewiring of your home.

Control — Options, Options, Options
This professional-quality in the wall controller communicates with all INSTEON and X10-compatible devices. And, they do it over wiring that's already installed in your home. No retrofit wiring is required! Once the components are in place, simply press one INSTEON KeypadLinc Relay button, and all the lights programmed to respond will create a lighting scene that you design. Give each scene a name (i.e. "Movietime," "Dinnertime," "Party," etc.) and you can recall that scene in an instant!
Flexible Setup
The INSTEON KeypadLinc Relay gives you tremendous flexibility in setup. Other wall-mounted keypads only provide on/off control. However, each KeypadLinc button can perform up to four different functions thanks to a programmable "toggle" ability. Press once for ON, press again for OFF. Press and hold to brighten, press and hold again to dim. If you prefer, turn off the toggle feature to send the same command every time. Best of all, all the settings are electronically set (no code wheels!) and held in non-volatile EEPROM memory.
Monitor Other Devices
The KeypadLinc buttons illuminate when ON signals are sent and when signals are detected from other INSTEON devices linked to the KeypadLinc. This allows the KeypadLinc to monitor lights in other rooms, this feature is incredibly useful if you want to control lights that aren't easily seen from the location, like those in basements, garages, attics, etc.

Want a Different Frame Color?
Your INSTEON KeypadLinc V2 Dimmer comes out of the box with a white frame and white preprinted opaque buttons embossed with the following on the six buttons: ON, OFF, Scene A, Scene B, Scene C, Scene D. However, if white is not your choice, then the frame and buttons can be replaced with a different color that is more suited for blending in with your décor.
